Project Summary: Introducing CaddyTrack! Designed to transform the recreational golfing experience, CaddyTrack is your personal golf ball location device. Just attach the CaddyTrack unit to your push-caddy or golf cart and it will locate the direction in which your ball has landed until you have arrived at your ball.
Journey: After coming up with the idea for a self-automated golf pushcart, the team pitched their idea to alumni who helped them pivot to creating a device to track golf balls on the course. The team began creating CAD designs and worked on coding for
the autonomous navigation system. They used 3D printing to create the electronic packaging, and tested the hardware and software elements of their design until they had a working prototype.
