Project Description: An alternative to traditional, non-collapsible crutches.
Project Summary: The Collapsa Crutch is an alternative to traditional crutches that take up a lot of space, and make using public transportation, and getting around school and work a hassle for individuals managing an injury in their lower extremities. The Collapsa Crutch uses aluminum rods in a telescoping system that allows the crutch to reduce to more than half its original size, making it easy to transport and store. It is reinforced with safety locks to ensure stability once expanded to its original height.
