Project Description: A medical device for individuals who ambulate with a cane.
Project Summary: Designed to bring comfort, independence, and a renewed sense of mobility to the lives of people that use canes. The Rising Cane seamlessly transitions from a regular walking cane to a powerful assistant for sitting down and standing up. Its sturdy construction and ergonomic handle ensure confidence with every step by providing stability and a secure grip. It is electrically powered with rechargeable batteries and utilizes a linear actuator to apply an upward force on the top handle that is placed under the arm to provide lifting assistance for the user.
